In first photo looks like it's captain Akhtar Rasool with Hockey World Cup won by Pakistan in 1982 in India.

Pakistani cinema legend Muhammad Ali can also be seen.

The aircraft is Airbus A300

Lovey photos - thank you Ali for sharing.

I will take the oppurtunity to shed a bit of light on the tournament that ended with the golden prestigeous cup in hands of proud Akhtar. The second world cup win for Pakistan Hockey in a row after a successfull compaign in Argentina 4 years ago. We played 7 matches in total inclduing semi and final and won all of them and that too by a margin of at least 2 goals. The score lines read:
Aregntian 6-1
Spain 4-1
N Zealand 12-3
Germany 5-3
Poland 4-1
Holland 4-2 (semi)
Germany 3-1 (championship)

We had the most formidable forward line including Kaleem ul Allah(customs), Manzoor Jr(PIA), Hasan Sardar (Customs), Haneef Khan (HBL) and Sami ul Allah (customs). Brig Atif was Man and Kh Zaka coach. Distinguished Air Marshall Retired Noor Khan was Chairman PIA and President Pakistan Hockey Fed.

Watched whole 82 world cup on a B&W TV. Those were the glory days of this beautiful country and nation. Pakistan was big name in hockey, crocket squash. Airlines was one of the best. Pakistan was a tourist attraction. Locals and foreigners went around the country without any security fears or threats. religious minded, moderates, liberals and secular all lived in harmony. Alas, what have we done to you....Pakistan.
Apologies for being off topic.
