Shaheen has dropped the idea for ATR and are now going for Embraer 170/175, they are looking into getting 8.

Finally! A dream come true, PIA should have done this long long ago. Hopefully increased frequency on current routes.hasan saleem wrote:Shaheen has dropped the idea for ATR and are now going for Embraer 170/175, they are looking into getting 8.

Re: Shaheen Air Airbus A320 Fleet Induction
it seems shaheen is on a buying spree.they are buying anythg they can get their hands on.
however it seems their network is not expanding as fast.
mayb they feel that pia will collapse soon, hence they are getting ready to fill the gap.
embraer will be new stuff.although ppl write that a turboprop is cheaper to operate than a small jet.
hope they open new routes or increase frequency like three daily flights khi-dxb

Dublin to Ras Al Khaimah nonstop. Proof of the A320's range capability, maybe a bit less with a full load of pax and baggage but impressive nontheless. I hope SAI deploy these planes on proper routes and not just short hops here and there.
