If ISB-MAN-ISB is direct, is Istanbul being dropped?

hope to see more late 1990s-2000s aircrafts instead of scrap b732 being inducted.
manchester was expected.i guess 1 will be used for domestic peak hours now that bhoja air will never recover.
to be able to fill 342 seats on all routes is quite worrying.
Seriously I think its high time for Pakistani Airlines to purchase better aircraft. Its been years since we've been seeing scrapped or aircraft's that have been grounded by other airlines being inducted by our airlines. It was a leap advance for Shaheen Air this year to get B734's in order to replace their old B732's. I think you should give credit to Airblue as it is the only Private Pakistani airline that has always had a fleet of modern & newer aircraft, the airline was the first & still is the only one to use the Airbus A320 Family aircraft in Pakistan. I hope that Airblue can get hold of some A330's in the coming future as they would prove to more cost-efficient on their long-haul operations.

The Pics which shows Turkish Cabin doesnt look dirty? Where did you see dirty cabin???
It looks more like that some of the seatcovers are stained\colored brownish. The Cabin itself looks neat.

Agreed. Airblue have done a great job in inducting and leasing relative new planes. Although their average fleet age will drop drastically because of the 343s.

Zulfiqar I think it depends on the pax.load Airblue carry between Islamabad & Istanbul Sabiha Gocken. Currently Turkish Airlines is providing non-stop service between Islamabad & Istanbul Ataturk with its B737NG's. However In my opinion Istanbul would eventually be dropped by airblue. Airblue could continue to fly to Istanbul using their A319 or A320 aircraft. Their can also be a change in routing...for i.e Lahore-Istanbul-Lahore route could be a possibility as that is one route Turkish Airlines has been eyeing for quite some time now & Airblue could become the market-leader on that route by connecting Lahore with at least two weekly flights to Istanbul.

It all depends on how Airblue plans to utilise its aircrafts after the arrival of A343's. In my opinion Airblue should add more destinations like Kuwait, Jeddah, Colombo, Dhaka & Kuala Lumpur.

Wait, the Air Blue A340 might be made by Hogan in 1/200 scale at some point. They have already released AP-EDA.

Thanks Moin, hope so :), yeah I know Hogan done A320 and i got that one :).

I already made custom model of an A319 AP-EDC in scale 1:400.
I might wait for them, but i want to see Airblue's A340 in 1:400, because majority of my models aircraft are all in scale 1:400.

If i have understood it correctly the latest AP-EDD is not equipped with PTV screens. If you look at the interior pictures the seats are black leather.

It is the other aircraft AP-EDA which has those PTV's.

Thats how it looks like when i see the different pictures on Airblues Facebook page.
