KHI-MCT-LHR with Oman Air

Here are some pics from my trip to LHR yesterday with Oman Air. I see Oman Air as a prospective threat to Qatar, Etihad and Emirates and I'm sure the pics will confirm the same.

excellent pics, food seems to be very delicious, 1st chance to note A330 at Karachi otherwise most of the time the pics are shown of B737s. thanks for sharing your experience...

Great pics Moin - they leave mine in the dust !

Firstly i was quite surprised to see the A332 on the KHI flight! Normally its the B738. How was the J and Y load on the KHI-MCT flight? If there is another product out there that takes on EY's J class head-on (and probably betters it),its WY. The J class meal service onboard WY seems definately a notch above EY and i would say even QR.

Did i just spot a little bit of Kahlua and milk going on with the Fish?

Thanks. The load from Khi to Mct was not very high. There were 4 of us in the forward cabin and the Y class load was light too but its possible the load was higher on the flight in. Also if you look closely at some pics, you can see the cargo hold full of Mangoes. The plane was carrying a heavy load of Mangoes and I took some pics of them being loaded on but didn't upload them here, so its possible that while the pax load didn't justify an A330 sized a/c, the cargo load certainly did.

I too recently travelled on Oman Air.. it is more of a hidden jem at the moment.. watch this space. It is going to be a fierce competitor in the market without a doubt. I travelled on them from LHR-Muscat. Then airblue Muscat-Lahore.
