Dame yaar, you guys have eyes like hawks, i took the photo of PIA 777, never saw that Virgin.
Anyhow i just called up control tower and asked him about that Virgin. he said yes today 2 aircrafts diverted one was Virgin he diverted to Karachi from 4nm short of PG, due shortage of fuel.
I must say once again, i totally missed that tail even when pointed out. Good catch guys.
Looking at the width of the tail, it's A340 and if you look closely (under B737) the size of engine #2 is no smaller than of an A340-600. So I'd suspect it's an A340-600.
Great photos... I think we're lucky to have someone who could provide us with these rare but quality photos. Thanks so much for daring to do the job that others could only dream of.
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,SubhanAllah
Absolutely brilliant shots. The ATR looks the part, a posser! Rest assured there would be a big collection to bail you out if you ever got into trouble!!!!
This is interesting.. this is not the first time Virgin has gate crashed at Pakistani airports.. I remember reading about a Delhi bound flight diverted to LHE last year because of bad weather at DEL!
And VS says Pakistan airports are unsecure... why the hell do you land there?! In cases of emergency!
