Chairman PIA and Defence Secretary Salim Abbas Jilani, members of crew and other officials who flew on the delivery flight of PIA's sixth Airbus A310-308 (AP-BEU) on May 13, 1994, from Toulouse to Karachi were greeted by Managing Director PIA Air Vice Marshal Farooq Umar and a large number of airline employees, who accorded a warm welcome to celebrate the occasion at Karachi Airport. The brand new A310 on its delivery flight was flown by Capt. Zabih alongwith First Officer Farrukh Cheema. The aircraft completed Toulouse to Karachi flight in 7 hours and 45 minutes
