PAF to Acquire Mirage V Aircraft from Egypt

Pakistan Air Force (PAF) to acquire a number of used Mirage V supersonic attack aircraft from Egyptian Air Force.

PAF has a large number of Mirage III fighter bomber and Mirage V attack aircraft in its inventory supported by Mirage Rebuild Factory in Kamra.

Looks like PAF Mirage aircraft are not going anywhere.

PAF has bought used Mirages from a number of countries, the ones I remember are Australia, Lebanon, and now Egypt most of them being used for spare parts for their own Mirages.

Some used Mirage V aircraft were also purchased from France in 1990s. There also are some former Libyan Mirages in PAF inventory/spares source.

Some time ago there were reports about PAF plan to begin phasing out Mirage aircraft from year 2020.
