PIA to Operate More Flights With Boeing 777 Instead of Airbus A320 Between Multan and Jeddah

Post by Abbas Ali »

According to news sources:

Due to increasing number of passengers, PIA is going to operate more flights with wide-body Boeing 777 instead of narrow-body Airbus A320 between Multan and Jeddah.

There also were complaints about baggage pieces left by the airline at Jeddah due to smaller load capacity of Airbus A320.

Recent PIA flights PK-739 from Multan to Jeddah operated with Airbus A320 and Boeing 777.

Its nice to see very high load coming out of MUX sector like for Jeddah and Sharjah .PIA is now also getting involved in the competition to get its share & increase revenue.
Also Saudia operated its 777 today rather than leased A330 or 747 which are usually operated on MUX sector and are leased from Onur Air & Icelandic Air respectively

SV is operating 7 flights a week to Multan onboard Boeing 777-200/300 ER. They merged leased A330 and Jumbo 747 flights into high-density standard 777 equipment. Loads are increasing by every passing day.

PIA is going to increase flights between Multan and Jeddah from the month of February, according to PTV News.

Currently the airline is operating three weekly flights between the two cities. Addition of a fourth weekly flight expected in February.
