According to newspaper reports, Serene Air is planning to start international flights by the end of February 2018. Currently the airline is operating three Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will qualify for international operations with the induction of two more similar aircraft.
Under Pakistan's National Aviation Policy (NAP), the airline should have a fleet of five aircraft for starting international flights after demonstrating successful domestic flight operations at least for one year.
Initially Serene Air has plan to operate international flights to destinations in countries including China, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Serene Air plans to have eight aircraft in its fleet by the end of December 2018.

Serene Air has been operating for more than one year. You would think they would have had a plan in place to commence International routes as soon as they are allowed to as this is where they will generate more revenue from.
They seem to be very quiet with their plans?

I wonder why none of Pakistani private airlines are tapping into Europe for international traffic

Consumers are also entitled to compensation for flights that are delayed for cases other than weather etc. All the Pakistani airlines have been impacted by this especially in Manchester where Aiblue, Shaheen and PIA all suffered long delays. The airlines have to often payout more than what the consumer paid for the ticket.Pakistan-1 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 26, 2018 6:41 am

An ex Airblue employee who worked for Shaheen said this was one of the key reasons for why they both pulled out.

SereneAir is going to begin international flights in the next two months. It will target air traffic to and from Saudi Arabia.
A spokesman for the private air carrier acknowledged that SereneAir would commence international flights in the near future, but did not divulge details, saying dates for the beginning of flights and other details had not yet been finalised.

Instead of jumping the band wagon and flying to Saudi Arabia and UAE might be a good idea to look at maybe China.
Islamabad and Lahore could use more direct flights into China but then I do not know the number of passengers between China and Pakistan.
Another route I wonder is Bangkok and code share with Thai to other cities in the Far East and Australia.
I think other than Thai only PIA is flying direct to the Far East and even that very few flights, a couple to Kuala Lumpur and couple to Tokyo via Beijing. Far East might be a region where Serene Air could fly.

Serene Air can look into the Guangzhou (CAN) airport to cover the business community travel from Lahore, Shaheen was doing full load A330 on this sector
