And my design
(NO COMMENT)
If I comment on your design, there are two points;
1. Urdu PIA logo position on the engine is not suitable as image on which this design was made is two dimensional, but engine physically is three dimensional, while two of it's dimensions are in a curve. If you put a logo in that position, it will be on a curvature which will minimise its appearance. Even a person standing close and positioned side axis of aircraft, may not be able to see that logo. And a person standing at a distance, may not be able to understand that logo because of small size.
2. Aircraft fuselage section lines don't appear enough if fuselage surface is painted. So, there was no need to show that white lines.

Seems serious artists/designers from Pakistan chose to ignore this PIA livery design open competition.
Abbas
Because they made non-serious and unprofessional approach. I don't think announcing livery design competitions can give them a professional brand identity, untill otherwise PIA hire a professional livery designer/branding consultant.
Re-branding of PIA aircraft, the flying global billboards, is also underway with new fresher look and feel, contemporary but tied to our rich legacy and lineage.
PIA has thanked livery design open competition participants.
Seems, PIA will get corporate identity/aircraft livery designed by a proper Brand Consultancy Service Provider for which the airline gave following advertisement in January 12 newspapers.

dropping a well known brand like PIA and making a bloody bakra copying Qatar Airways.
Disgusting.
Taking Markor into PIA livery is not a bad idea. World airlines i.e Qatar, Qantas, Lufthansa, Turkish, Singapore, Shaheen and many others already using their national animal/bird logos. Whats bad in it?
And yes I agree, "PIA" brand name should remain as long as company survive, because it's historic.

Back in 2004, when PIA launched the flag and the strip in the middle of the plane, it was an exact copy of EL AL (Israel's National Airline). Now they are trying to copy Qatar.
