Boeing 777-300ER registration AP-BMS recently inducted in PIA fleet was the first aircraft to get this livery.

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
Massive thanks to Ali Yazdani for this shot.
It looks like they painted over the Guinness World record sticker right beside door L1. But Ali Yazdani says PIA will be getting a bigger sticker for the World record of the longest distance traveled nonstop by a commercial airplane.
Personally, I like the stripe better than this

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
it looks like saudia wet lease livery. A lot of PIA top brass were also present on the aircraft

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
Why do they spend time and money on these things when the airline is in dire straits financially. It achieves nothing. Another bailout package in the offering which will keep her afloat for another few months and then exactly same issues will spring up. Even if the prime minister does not want to do it he cannot not do this, he knows that. We need her for domestic travel for sure. So happy flying PIA.

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
Thank god that disgusting beige and those 1970s stripes are gone.
This is simple and nice.
I would have prefered a Pakistan International on the main fusalage between the second and third door rather then written under PIA.
As for the question of why repaint the livery. Well during a heavy C check or D check they strip the plane of its paint to check corrosion of metal, so the aircraft has to be repainted, so might as well paint in the new modified livery.

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
Only livery was changed on AP-BGZ or they changed the old seats also with new one?
Any confirmation for this change?

Re: PIA Aircraft Getting Painted in Revised Livery
Following piece of information may clarify unanswered questions;
1. Aircraft depaint is a scheduled maintenance job, which all airlines perform as of their aircraft maintenance schedules. No doubt PIA changing aircraft liveries very frequently but normally they synchronize this task with scheduled maintenance like Check-C or Check-D when aircraft depaint/repaint is necessary or already scheduled. So, on that time changing livery/placement of special logos doesn't costs higher than normal. Like AP-BGL scheduled next for Check-C.
2. The aircraft cabin renovation project was launched by PIA management as upholstery was replaced since long. They planned this task at Check-C and simply added a change of upholstery color scheme in it. They are replacing old carpet, curtains, seat covers with new, along with deep cleaning of the whole cabin which is a scheduled task at Check-C. Seats (Economy or Business) not being replaced.

The tail section of PIA Boeing 777-200LR registration AP-BGZ in revised livery is also sporting PIA website address www.piac.aero.
