My humble suggestion, kindly shut down this airline for 48 hours and reopen with new contract and rules, with no union and associations for next five years, and for PIA pilots they should be inducted through fresh interviews and their flight simulator check by Emirates,Qatar, korean,Malaysian check airman,I asure all Pakistanis, that PIA DFO,GM P&S,GM TECH,President PALPA,Vice President PALPA,G/S PALPA will not make it.

They all are playing with Pakistanis TAX money.

Pilots Warn PIA Against Confrontation

LAHORE:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) administration should not confront the Pakistan Air Line Pilots’ Association (PALPA) because it is not in the interest of the institution and insulting attitude towards pilots will only result in stress, which itself is a safety risk, the association said in a statement issued on Friday. The statement said the PALPA would not allow the management to take “egoistic revenge” from pilots by using the Removal from Service Ordinance (RSO-2000).

PALPA President Imran Usman said in the statement that even though local and foreign inquiry boards had cleared the pilots, the management had openly announced that the pilots would still be made an example. He said the PIA managing director’s egoistic attitude was spelling disaster for the ailing airline. He demanded that the PIA chairman should form an independent judicial inquiry into the accusations against pilots to ascertain the truth.

Imran alleged that the PIA management, after getting exhausted by the carrot-and-stick policy, had now started threatening the pilots of consequences if they observe air safety rules and follow procedures.

He said the management was trying to stop some pilots from supporting PALPA in their move to ensure air safety, but all such efforts would be futile because all the pilots were united. He said the management had also admitted that the extra effort by pilots generated a profit of Rs 660 million a week, but they were still harassing pilots instead of appreciating their efforts.

Study reveals that Some non well wishers of PIA, particularly those who are from business communities, & having hidden support & shares in background with agents are in present administration. Thats why they have not only conflict with some Members of PALPA but also firing contineously other Professionals in various departments, who wow for PIA betterment & wants PIA to be be a Flag airline. They (non well wishers)fear if they (professionals) are brought in front, PIA will be revived & then they will not be able to launch any consipiracy against PIA & their dream in spiliting PIA in small units & then showing loss & purchasing on minmmal charges seems in practice since 2000.

One example of PIA rivival was, we have forgot now, was Restriction on PIA flights by EUrope Union; & then when an agreement was made with PIA employees, & engineers were given 35% increase in Salary & with detachment condition of Mr. Karmani, then PIA movement to Europe Union airports was re-stored. So this was the strength in professionals due unity, which we are loosing now due black sheeps in between. Check the benificieries if they were on merit; they will be pinpointed easily.

Repeat change in Management had not affected their planned mission, because they had planned in past {Wearing Musharaf Mak} in such a way, promoting whom repeatedly, who were in bottom & not on merit & brought other such other PIA non well wishers, weared them mask & adjustied them in their phase, mixed them around incoming Management, where these peoples started working/for them & with their unprofessional suggestions/decisions, PIA had been loosing revenue. Due Huge expenditures & un required activities etc now PIA loss reached at Maximum Revenue Loss.

Again Same Group of {People elite/business comunity} wearing an other Mask (pro-PPP) , re-planning same, spiliting PIA deliberately, placing unexperienced, untrained, unskill officers/staff in sections, particularly new comers & those who are from Elite/business comunity Class & directly, amending PIA's rules & regulation. Resulting with their non professional activities, decesions / command & control, PIA institutions are being damaged rapidly & than it will be handed over to to small business communities/agents they planed & in background they have the share or commision.

Their recent activities is spliting CBA/SASA/PALPA in groups & they support one group who works for their mission & today Officers/staff are spilited adping British style devide & rule. ALAS! PIA emplyees not understanding consipiracy being launched against them, through New comers/Elite class, retiring Staff ets. Its time for UNITe not splitting. We are there if there is PIA, contrary all will be fired by the agents. weekers first theory.

Replaceent of professionals & skilled peoples is being carried out with those Officers staff who are being retired & now having no interest in PIA's betterment, so not planning for future PIA. They are just killing time, or waiting, that they will be hired on contact, thats why they are working freely even & not going on LPR. That's why, who are on LPR are being prefered & placed in foreign postings for which PIA rule not permits, surprisingly while a few months remains in their retirement. Also those who had never work professionally in the fields are placed at key positions, they are either from Elite class, non versant with Air industry functions, not involved religously when temporary deplyed, commanding & controlling PIA.

Only those are benificioury who had supported & worked for previos NFS/Swisport etc. TGS is an example, where Sweasport was depolyed but could not perform as required & resulting billion loss to PIA. Now same sweasport is hired as an agent on international stations with same plan. Despite action be taken on those, who had facilitated Swissport & TGS other sections were detached from PIA, same team is placed again to re-plan.

All benificiary rules & regulation, standing procedures are set aside & only those are implimented to harm professionals who want PIA to be revived, ordinance 2000 is not for culprits yet sitting in the roots, re-planning PIA division & sale but for the professions who WOW! LONG LIVE PIA & the hedeles between PIA non welwishers.

No one is asking why revenue loss to PIA when TGS other sections were handed over & what action on that team? & again they are placed there for re-planning & dividing PIA.

^ Since the day Capt. Aijaz Haroon was appointed MD PIA, I've seen a number of news reports calling him 'Captain (Retd.)'. Probably some of the reporters think Capt. Aijaz Haroon is a retired Army Captain.

These reporters need to be informed that Capt. Aijaz Haroon is an active PIA Boeing 777 pilot.

I have a feeling we are heading towards another MLR-52, the one imposed by the Zia-ul-Haq government in 1981, banning all union activities in PIA.

PALPA and PIA Managment should learn from JET AIRWAYS
New Delhi - India's second-largest private airline Jet Airways made efforts to resume normal flights Sunday after its pilots decided to end a five-day strike, officials and news reports said. Talks between the striking pilots and management ended early Sunday with an agreement to reinstate two pilots who were sacked by the company.
More than 400 of the company's pilots - a little more than half of those on Jet's rosters - had called in sick since Tuesday to protest the July sacking of their colleagues.
Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal said in a statement that an amicable agreement was reached, effective immediately.
"The airline will operate its full schedule of services on all sectors with all crew reporting for their normal rostered duties," he said.
"An amicable settlement has been reached. It was like a misunderstanding in a family," Girish Kaushik, president of the pilot's union, the National Aviators Guild, was quoted by the IANS news agency as saying.
During the five-day impasse, Jet Airways had to cancel 1,058 flights, causing inconvenience to thousands of passengers, particularly during the first two days of the walkout.
The airline operates 380 flights daily to various parts of India and abroad. According to reports in the local media, the strike cost the airline about 8 million dollars a day.
Over 150 Jet Airways flights remained cancelled on Sunday as the company said it was making efforts to restore full operations by the afternoon with pilots resuming their duties, PTI news agency reported. The airline had restored its international operations with flights leaving for Gulf countries.
