yes guys it is true because a friend of my father went yesterday there at MXP too take his mother which was comming on same filght and said that pia 777 front gear was damged when it touched down the runway or something like that, and it was fully declered as emergency and good handled by italian firebrigators.

the aircraft is still there and you can see that he had to took of on 3/07/009 but it is still in the international departures flight schedule you can see here :

http://www.sea-aeroportimilano.it/it/ma ... &to=volare

PK00750 WAS SCHEDULED TO DEPART AT 18:05 TO ISLAMABAD BUT IT IS STILL AT MXP ON 4/07/09

so this confirm me that something that my uncle said it is true and pia aircraft is still stopped at MXP.

i hope no more accident will happen to piA because its seems that every pia aircraft have bad luck because untill now many accidents happend to many aricraft and also to latest ones.

Dear shoaib malik

please don't post false and irrelevant news regarding the incident till you don't have reliable information.

AP-BHV landed in MXP absolutely fine.
Although when it was taxing back for departure.
The handling agent accidently hit the tow bar into nose wheel damaging the nose gear.
Aircraft is fine and awaiting spares.Thats why it night stopped there.

There was no emergency declared and there were no fire brigades escorting the aircraft.I don't know from where your uncle got this information.

It has nothing to do with PIA's luck as this accident can happen with any airliner in the world.

both the nose wheels of the said 777 were damaged when the aircract tugs brakes failed and it colided with the wheels damaging them in the process.
Whilst the aircraft carries spares onboard, it only carries ONE nose wheel, so another one had to be sourced.

Aircraft has since departed MXP

F.K. in the post just previous to yours, i explained that the TUG (tractor that pushes/pulls large jet aircraft) could not brake in time, and collided with the nose wheels of the aircraft because the brakes on the TUG failed.

A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration AP-BHV performing flight PK-749 from Islamabad (Pakistan) to Milan Malpensa (Italy), damaged the nosegear while touching down on Malpensa's runway prompting the response of emergency services. The airplane slowed down safely.

The onward itinerary to Paris CDG and back to Islamabad had to be postponed to the next day departing with a delay of 21 hours.

B-777 was expected to become the workhorse of PIA. Unfortunately it is not having a goodtime. Everything from tyre fire, rudder damage, engine colwing bruise, hailstorm damage and now a nosegar collision.

typical media wrong information

there was no damage during touchdown, or any emergency services.
the aircraft was at a standstill at the parking stand when the incident occured.
