OMG, thats nasty. Was that pilot blind? I hope he went with that poor animal. It must have been so painfull for that innocent animal to die this way.
The orbital speed of the Earth around the Sun averages about 30 km/s or 18 mps (108,000 km/h or 67000 mph).
Which means we're travelling 97 times the speed of sound. And yet we can't feel the motion,

O God!!! That so cruel :evil: License of the pilot involved should be canceled right away...

Most probably the aircraft was moving at high speed for take-off or after touch down and the poor animal suddenly came in-front of it. In such situations it's very difficult for pilots to take evasive action.

Seems that the flaps are fully extended and might be the cesna was landed and before it slows down got hit with the giraffe???
