does any know or (even better) have a photo of the text just under the india flag next to the cockpit window?

The answer to your question is in the "Remarks". The name of the aircraft "Assam" is painted below the flag. Assam is a state in India. The B777s will be named after the states.

VT-ALA: Andhra Pradesh
VT-ALB: Arunchal Pradesh
VT-ALC: Assam
