Emirates A380 in Mauritius

last Tuesday was a public holiday and i decided to go to try to catch some pics at the airport. im still not used to the cam and have no clue about optimum settings for aviation photography. i only wante to 'check' the x40 zoom.
i had no idea about the arrival schedule but only knew that ek 701 usually arrives about 9.30am.
after riving around i decided that the best place woul be at the runway threshold.
on that day we kept waiting until it (a6-eed ) finally appeared at 10.30am.
you can see next that the results were not that great.
