Spotting at Frankfurt on 03.10.2011

Post by irfanjaffry »

Dear friends,
Thanks to unexpected sunny and warm weather in Germany, I had a pretty long spotting session on Sunday. I am sharing here some of the pictures that I took. Had no time to resize them or do any type of editing. So these pics are directly from camera to your screen :)
It was a long weekend here in Germany - Moday being the re-unification day of east and west Germany; and the motivation to go for spotting on Sunday was for a chance to capture PIA plane. Unfortunately the flight on that day (PK769/770) was cancelled :-$

Agreed. As said, could not get any time for that. Will try the next time I am there, although I see very less chances of any spotting this year.

Thanks turbotraker. Your encouragement means a lot. This was the same spotting area where we met. Though, I tried to apply all the tips you shared with me I still see a lot of room for improvement. As said, I didn't get time to do any editing on these pics. If there are any suggestions/criticism, please do share.

I remember the day very well, how could I forget the 'desi chaa'???

Your photo have improved alot more than before you used the tips I gave you. There are a few small faults I can still see :).
You need to get the CMOS sensor cleaned on your camera or close out some of the heavily visible dust spots. The rest I will PM you soon and explain how to get a better picture.

Your pictures can look so much better with very little effort for example:

thank you, I am using a Canon 450D with a 100-400L IS lens. But must admit taking the photo is only 50%, the rest is in the editing.
You can take an average RAW image and edit it to a stunning website quality photo withing minutes ;).

Thank you turbotraker. By posting such good quality photos; you have now forced me to spend some time and edit my pics which I have resisted to do for almost 3 months now :) I will try to clean my lens as well as edit any of my pics and will share with you. Thanks once again
