mhansari, thank you for the suggestions. i used the higher ISO at that time but as you may know that i am new to this SLR technology so it will take some time for me to learn each and every feature available. Have not got much time yet. And i have one extra lens brought with that is EF-S 55-250mm IS but i think this is the one with higher aperture than you mentioned.
