AP-BGY - second flight to YYZ
I went to YYZ early sunday morning to catch a glimpse of AP-BGY operating its second non-stop flight to Toronto (KHI-YYZ). I took various shots of the aircraft landing and taxying to Terminal 3 that I wanted to share with you all.
The aircraft arrived at 10:40 am (early for a sunday!!). We just reached the airport in time as we spotted the aircraft on the downwind as we were driving along the east side of the airport. By the time I climbed up the "Fed-Ex" hill, the aircraft was lined up on finals for rwy. 05 and I was able to take some shots of the landing.
Enjoy!
On finals, just over Dixie Rd:

Just about to touchdown:

Thanx for your comments!AP-BGL wrote:kamalla, Nice shots... Were you on the same place to shoot pictures on which Saad was?
BTW, which camera do you use? Nice quality as well, tried for airliners.net/jp.net?
I was actually in a different location as in Saad's pics the aircraft was coming in on rwy. 33 while this one landed on rwy. 05. The camera is an Olympus C-765UZ, seen below.
I will try to put a couple in on JP.net.... don't think I'll bother with Airliners.net again as they are way too picky with their selection.

Excellent pictures.
Its a very noticeable one at that..... we didn't even have to pull out our binoculars to see if it was 772LR, the wingspan said it all!!PK777 wrote:Very cool selection love this one especially;

Thanks for the photo. I was on this flight on Sunday and connected on the 2:00 p.m. Air Canada flight to DFW. I much preferred this to the 1 (or 2) stops to Houston (or Houstan on this board) then connecting to DFW.
The PIA flight to YYZ was superb, mainly because I was fast asleep for a good eight hours (thanks to the magic of Benzodiazepines). I awoke somewhere near Iceland but did enjoy the remainder of the flight. The crew change had already occurred by the time I woke up. Sorry, I was too knackered to take pictures.

I guess the non-stop would definitely be more convenient for connecting passengers by cutting down total travel time. It would've been cool if you could've taken a shot of myself as I caught the landing through the lens of my camera!!SalamPaks wrote:Thanks for the photo.
