AP-BGY in Manchester - Photos by forum member SENIOR - I

Post by Abbas Ali »

Here are photos of PIA’s first Boeing 777-240LR (registration AP-BGY) taken by forum member SENIOR at Manchester Airport on February 26, 2006. The aircraft arrived from Seattle on its delivery flight to PIA.

Hi SENIOR

Nice pics. How is Economy Plus on LRs? Is is worth spending extra money on a 14 hr non-stop flight. Hopefully it is not like ERs which has same seats as economy.

P vs Y on LR

Post by SENIOR »

P seats are the same size as Y. :(
U get an extra 2inch longer pitch only.
There is now a solid divder separating the two classes compared to ER.
Whether its worth the difference depends on your own point of view.
Personally i think it all comes down to your own wallet.

Nice selection of pics senior.

Shame to see the same interior, but atleast they've done something with p class. Eventhough its only the divider seperating this cabin.

I want to fly this plane sometime. Hopefully in Summer New York-Karachi for a photo kinda shoot.

Anyway good work
Regards

I know Airblue that mood lighting was cool. Especially the neon lit ceiling.

Hope someone takes some stills soon.

Excellent photos Senior. I wish they would use those mood lights too. It would add a great effect to the cabin. I like the crew rest area, it looks cool.
