Most likely AP-BBR was photographed on its delivery flight from Canada to Pakistan in 1983 and made refueling stop at Luqa Airport.

This particular Twin Otter (Construction number 782) was built in Canada in 1983 and registered in Canada as C-GEVP most probably for pre-delivery test flights. It was due to be delivered to Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE - Fuerza Aérea Ecuatoriana) with serial number FAE-782 but somehow Ecuadorian Air Force did not take delivery of this aircraft.

Later it was registered in Pakistan as AP-BBR in November 1983 and delivered to OGDCL.

After many years of service with OGDCL, AP-BBR sale notice appeared in a Pakistani newspaper on January 15, 2009.

In following photo taken by Aroosh, AP-BBR is seen stored at Islamabad International Airport in year 2008.

Registration AP-BBR was removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on May 28, 2009.

Current operator of this Twin Otter not known.
