^ Nice shot - thank you for sharing.

I see some markings on both sides of exit door. Haven't seen markings like those on PAF Hercs before.

Close-up view may reveal what those markings are.

^ Yes, it seems there's something written in Urdu script on left side of that door.

Now I see the text on both sides of door is in English.

On the left side seems to be list of crew names under heading 'Air Crew'.

Difficult to read what's written on door's right side.

Btw, here's November 18, 2009 photo of the same PAF Lockheed C-130E Hercules (serial# 4180) and in this photo it's without those names painted near exit door.

One reason for painting those names could be that this C-130 took part in some international military air exercise or an air show as a support aircraft for some other PAF aircraft.

^ Beautiful photo - I was hoping to see photos of PAF Il-78 Midas taken at Lajes. Hope to see more photos of PAF Il-78 from Portugal.

On aviation photography sites, some of the best photos of PAF aircraft - especially F-16s - are taken by photographers in Portugal.

The Pakistan IL was the highlight of the month and probably of the year at Terceira Island.
