The world’s best airlines for 2017

Post by Thunder »

Air New Zealand has been named the 2017 Airline of the Year by AirlineRatings.com in its Airline Excellence Awards for “record-breaking financial performance, award-winning in-flight innovations, operational safety, environmental leadership and motivation of its staff.”

“In our objective analysis Air New Zealand came out number one in virtually all of our audit criteria, which is an exceptional performance,” said AirlineRatings.com Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas. The airline has won the title for the fourth time in a row.

Happened to have travelled once with air newzealand back in 2014 from sydney to auckland. The plane was an old 767-300er dont know if they are still part of their fleet or not. However despite the plane being quite old the seats and lavotary were in good and neat condition as well as the ife which despite showing marks of wear tear and being old worked decently. The crew was also quite courteous and cooperative
