Iran Air 747 Trip Report

Post by Moin »

This plane is close to 37 years old, looks brand new with impeccable onboard service. Something for PIA to watch and learn.

Despite sanctions, Iran has done very well to maintain and operate ageing US-built civilian aircraft like Boeing 707, Boeing 727, Boeing 747 and military aircraft like F-14, F-4, F-5 and C-130.

I remember reading this sometime back, but it's not exactly true. Despite the planes being polished on the outside and outstanding in-flight service, the planes are crippling and suffer from technical faults on a regular basis.
