I have this postcard in my collection. The aircraft seen in this photo is Airbus A300B4-203 (c/n 154) and its registration is N72986, it was an ex-Continental airlines aircraft. According to information on the backside of postcard, the photo was taken by B. Ross at Frankfurt Airport in February 1995.

N72986 was on lease to Shaheen Air International for very few months in 1995. The lease term began in Februay 1995 and ended few months later. In October 1995, the same A300B4 joined APA International and began flying under Peruvian registration OB-1631.

Actually, N72986 was one of two A300s painted in Shaheen Air livery. The other A300B4 was construction number 259 and it even received Pakistani registration AP-BFG but for some reasons Shaheen Air did not take delivery of AP-BFG.

Here's a photo in my collection showing the two Airbus A300s (N72986 and AP-BFG) sporting Shaheen Air livery. The A300 closer to camera is AP-BFG. Photo date/place not known.

On following link is another photo showing N72986 after the end of its service with Shaheen Air.

Btw, Boeing 737-2P5 registered in Pakistan as AP-BEW flew for Shaheen Air in 1993/94 and it also sported livery like the one we see on their A300.

Wow.. this is news for me! I didnt realise that Shaheen had A300. This livery actually looked brilliant on the A300.

My bad, it wasnt Aero Asia hybrid scheme, the colours looked similar and since it was operated for E4 therefore the conclusion.

My youtube camera can apparently do slide shows of saved images and video footage. Now that I have these A300s and this colour scheme, I will add other planes like A310 and other livery to try and make a youtube slide show video.

There's only 1 video on YT on Shaheen Air. A few seconds clip of a B737-200 nothing special.

I notice the similar stripes to AeroAsia. But AeroAsia's scheme is more yellowish.

This one is more gold like Shaheen Airs or Gulf Air's kind.

But I confirm that this A300 was jointly operated by Shaheen and Aero Asia for some time.

Shaheen also operated 737-400 from Pegasus Airlines in 1999, it had yellow tail with the older logo and Shaheen International title on fusleage, and Yak42. Why the fake Shaheen A320 livery in your slide show Nadir.
