Nice to DW to follow PX with this release. Will pick it up if they dont screw up on the colours! The mould is definetly better though if you like plastic wheels, wings and engines etc then DW is the superior option interms of the mould.

Oh WOW!!!! Ha ha ha, what did I tell you? It seems we should keep track of what PX releases for we can be sure that DW will follow suit.

This is great. Now I can finally get this 743. Was never going to get the crappy PX version but DW has obliged. Fantastic!

GREAT RELEASE GREAT PHOTOS GREAT MODEL!!!!

Beige colour much better. Love the textures. My favourite tail. Will get it asap.

but i think there is one mistake but correct me if im wrong that the text "Garden of the Mughals" Looks like dark green as with the DW B747-200 colours of the desert. its meant to be black. thats what made the DW PIA B747-200 BAD due to missing detail on tail and wrong colours of text. But this release no detail missing fom the tail. Excellent tail!!

BUT GREAT MODEL ;)
NOW hope to see the other PIA liveries announced in a few weeks like the
PIA B747-367 Green Turtle Waters
PIA A310-300 Gateway to the East
PIA A310-300 Treasures of the Past
and so on...

would love to see DW do the PIA B777-240LR reg: AP-BGZ

Overall DW have won this alongside the PX PIA B747-300.

The colour looks better than the DW release! The text looks black to me - will have to wait and see the actual thing before I pick it up! Though last week I picked up the PX version and that looked good, though the mould kinda needs retooling. Though the textures are awesome.

on the Phoenix release its black maybe PX got it wrong i dont know need someone to confirm what the colour of the text is on the real aircraft

NOW does anyone really know what the colour of the text "Garden of the Mughals" and "Colours of the Desert" is on the real aircraft??

overall i like this model as tail, and detail is much better than the Desert tail DW! i will get this!

I think you guys are focusing too much on trivial things like the shade of green, white stripe for the flag etc. For heavens sake, what really matters is that the mould has to be good. The PX mould in my opinion is crap and the way they went and positioned the Zone 'A' windows by the nose is totally incorrect and those 744 type engines just didn't do it for me. DW has a far superior mould overall compared to PX, as a matter of fact just second to AC, and if given a choice, even if there is no miniscule white stripe for the flag or if the green is a shade darker than it should be, I would still choose DW over PX any day.

If the mould is wrong in my opinion, the whole model is wrong.

Had a chance to examine both my DW PIA 74M and 743 and the green stripe, lettering and text is all the correct shade of dark green. There is that tiny white stripe for the flag too, so you guys quit nitpicking over such trivial things and enjoy the models.
