I hope its not one of those mahogany wood models made in the Philippines, because if it is and as much as I hate to tell you this, you might be in for a disappointment.

As for the 1/200 scale models, just wait a while.

It's not made in the phillipines, it's made here in the US, but it is made out of wood!! Tell me more Moin :?: and also what about the 1/200 models? Wait a while for what?

I got this model in my hands today and it is absolutely fantastic. I am not disappointed whatsoever. I dont know how long it will last (in lieu of it being wood) but right now i am drooling :D My camera died yesterday - but as soon as i purchase a new camera - i will share uptodate detailed pics!!!

Ali, i had this model custom made - i'll email you the details if you want.

I have one more 1/100 777-200LR (full RESIN/Fiber Glass reg AP-BGZ) in the pipeline and when i have that - i'll show you guys the pics.

Kind Regards

How much custom changes can the manufacturer make? For example, can the manufacturer make the PIA on the tail a little bolder and a little bigger to reflect the accurate dimensions? Also, can they put the black nose on as well as the anti-glare black under the cockpit? Finally, and probably the most hardest, can they trim the upper deck hump to make it look more like a -200? Right now, it looks like a -200/-300 hybrid (but maybe it's the camera angle)

Hey,

Like i mentioned before - this is the pic i had replicated. Click on the link...

http://www.airliners.net/photo/Pakistan ... 0496586/L/

and you will see it has no anti-glare, or a black nose.

I agree with you on the hump part - but i cant do much more about it.

The PIA on the tail is pretty accurate when seen up close.

If we had more enthusiastic pakistani model collectors maybe we could get companies officially licensed by Boeing to build PIA planes - and then we could possibly have better accurate replicas. I may be wrong - but other than Samee380 and myself - i havent seen many other members that have had any 1/100 custom PIA models built - or even if they have, they havent posted any pics here.
