Interesting to see those residential buildings constructed so close to Runway 36R threshold.

Aviation enthusiasts living in any of those buildings must be enjoying aircraft spotting.

Thanks for the nice video links from Lahore and Karachi. I found it interesting and disturbing to see ( if i am not mistaken) that there is so much rubber / oil on the runway surfaces at both KHI and LHE. CAA should maintain the surfaces as they could be especially hazardous during wet weather.

Agreed! They should be maintained. I guess CAA perform those duties as often because we don't get snow in any of the two cities. Otherwise it would be a key thing with icy conditions to have the runway maintained regularly.
Or funding could be another issue :P

I wonder if ISB/PEW runways are similar as well ?
