History of PIA website updated - January 01, 2007

Dear Members,

Today (January 01, 2007) History of PIA website was updated - Thanks to photos contributed by Muhammad Ali, Frank Ellemers, Michel Gilliand, Umar Anis, Aroosh Naqvi, Akram Ali, Matt Cawby, David Banham, Arfan Fida, Farhan Athar, Umer Sheikh, Konstantin von Wedelstaedt, Mohsin Habib, Abid Mehmud and Iain Mackenzie.

I would especially like to thank Arjumand Ahmad and Selma Sheikh for sharing rare photos from their collection and would also like to mention names of Mr. Ahmad S. Siddiqi and Mr. Naveed Riaz for their valuable efforts in making this update possible.

Sohail Tayyab and Nasir are in 737's cockpit not A310

yes Abbas you are right, Sohail is at the back and Nasir is on Capt.'s seat.

But they fly A310 these days.

You'll also see Capt. M.S. Khan in B737 cockpit in which both the capt and F/O are looking back.

The Captain in the F27 cockpit with F/O BA Sheikh is Capt Zaki, who was cheif pilot F27, and one of the most highly regarded F27 pilots in recent times.

the last photo is of Capt. MS Khan in B737 with Bilal
