At around Dec 25, 2005, I made a trip to Khi from Lhe. The A/C was a PIA 772ER. With the prevailing head winds at that time of the year the the journey took more then the regular 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our ground speed was around 485 MPH and we climbed upto FL400. Pretty high for a relatively short trip.
On the return leg at around Jan 15, 2006 the A/C was a B743. With the expected tailwind, the ground speed was an astonishing 1120 KM/H (that's 695 MPH) at FL350. The cabin crew had a hard time clearing the cabin for landing after serving lunch. The flight time was just couple of minutes over an hour.
If any of you plan to make a trip from Khi to either Lhe or Isl in Jan, I suggest a b743.
