That was unexpected. Front end looking clear and professional. Glad they re-wrote content instead of copy pasting from old stuff. The tagline sounds nice too, Cultural unity in diversity. Thats more realistic than Come fly on us or we are great people.

So far:
- Its missing a link to get back to home page. Instead of adding one, clicking on the header should bring one to the main page.
- Awards plus info needs to be merged into this site and not stand out on its own in its 98ish look.
- Fleet info could be improved
- While checking for seat, it should display a counter or some sort of animation that server is busy calculating. On my fast connection, it took 10 sec to show the results while the page showed no activity nor did the status bar. But it did show results.
- Also, BIG thing, geeks like me remember the flight nr i wish to take, 764. But a common man will have to first hunt for that number. They should consider adding seat checkup according to city of origin.

Other than that, im impressed.

their "contact page" is too grey colour..

http://www.piac.com.pk/PIA_PolicynTerms ... tactus.asp

and they no longer give their fleet information as well as they did before...

in other words, they only give the plane they have..not the model, nor how many seats, nor how many of the type in the fleet...(unless i'm missing something).

i've contacted them about this..

Good addition "Origin Specific" schedules showing all cities served from a specific destination.

But Nairobi, Tripoli, Urumqi, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah still listed with no flights, all are suspended stations.

Yes a definite improvement from the past. The next thing is they need a better website address. e.g. www.fly-pia.com or www.fly-pakistan.com etc..

Difficult

Post by Aftab PK786 »

Asalamalkium,

Brothers I agree with you that the new website is excellent. The only aspect which I think they have missed up is the flight status section. Before I could understand when the flight departed and arrived but in this new format I find it very difficult. As this was the aspect I paid more attention to.

Its a definite improvement over the older one!
Like other members pointed out, some of the areas need to be updated.... the fleet section still lists the F-27, which have been grounded and the ATR is not featured like the other aircraft.

A just yesterday i visited the site and silently wondered if EVER it will be updated! psychic psychic me!

Any way instead of just voicing opinions/suggesitions here i think it would be advisable for us all to be writing to the webmaster or the design agency or whjoever the contact person/company is for thw website.
Feedback is important since websites are a dynamic entity and yadda yadda yadda...
