Since inducedrag mentioned aktyubinsk twice in his question I think he has mistyped AXY or misunderstood it. He probably means AKX, which correctly is Aktyubinsk.Abbas Ali wrote:I have not been able to find airport with code AXY, would like to know the name of city where the aircraft landed.

Not the first time its happened...inducedrag wrote:I came to know that about 16 passengers got sick due food poisoning
In 2004 on MAN-JFK on PIA, we had to turn back right before the take off as one of the pax, got really sick and threw up in the aisle, the breakfast that was served to us on the KHI-MAN route was the culprit...

WOW
Asalamulkium,
LOL . I have also flown on PK786 and sister ship PK785 and I have never had any problem with the food, in fact I love the food that they serve in PIA. Also I agree that 16 passengers getting sick is to much and i wonder what they where given to eat that made them that sick and was also just wondering brothers, what is the name of that catering company that caters for PIA?Abbas Ali wrote:Thank you inducedrag for sharing info. That's quite a large number of pax getting sick on a flight. Company doing catering for PIA at London-Heathrow must be in trouble.

That should be LSG SKY CHEF in LHR.
BTW: Any one know why PIA dos'nt use the same catering company around the world? In CPH they use GATEGOURMET
