I agree with Saad, I hope in Pakistan's new National Aviation Policy, Government restrict Pakistani airlines from operating old and noisy aircrafts like 737-200s and DC-9s.AirBlue wrote:so i guess they are getting the 737's.....now lets hope they are above the -500 series......we have seen enough -200's and -300's
Interestingly, Pearl Air have changed aircraft type from A320/A321 to Boeing 737 in their latest ad. In their January 1, 2006 ad, the aircraft type was A320/A321.
Ad in January 1, 2006 DAWN newspaper:
That's another privately-owned Pakistani airline Safe Air (http://www.safeair.com.pk/) planning to launch its operations with B737-200s to be leased from Safair (www.safair.co.za) of South Africa.PK777 wrote:Where they getting those B737 from some South African airline ?

I really hope we can ban the B737-200Adv from Pakistani skies. Also this airline looks like another Shaheen/ AeroAsia knock off they say they will operate A320/1 but end up some how using B737-200Adv....typical.

This does not necessarily mean that they are changing the Aircrafts from A320s to 737s. Remember the Airblue Ad they also required 737 experience "Preferably" but operating A320s.Interestingly, Pearl Air have changed aircraft type from A320/A321 to Boeing 737 in their latest ad. Yes, I guess time will tell. Sadly, I hold no expectation for any other airline in Pakistan except Airblue or PIA.chevron wrote:This does not necessarily mean that they are changing the Aircrafts from A320s to 737s.
