I agree with Saad, I hope in Pakistan's new National Aviation Policy, Government restrict Pakistani airlines from operating old and noisy aircrafts like 737-200s and DC-9s.

Interestingly, Pearl Air have changed aircraft type from A320/A321 to Boeing 737 in their latest ad. In their January 1, 2006 ad, the aircraft type was A320/A321.

That's another privately-owned Pakistani airline Safe Air (http://www.safeair.com.pk/) planning to launch its operations with B737-200s to be leased from Safair (www.safair.co.za) of South Africa.

Thanks Abbas for the information.....

I really hope we can ban the B737-200Adv from Pakistani skies. Also this airline looks like another Shaheen/ AeroAsia knock off they say they will operate A320/1 but end up some how using B737-200Adv....typical.

This does not necessarily mean that they are changing the Aircrafts from A320s to 737s. Remember the Airblue Ad they also required 737 experience "Preferably" but operating A320s.

Yes, I guess time will tell. Sadly, I hold no expectation for any other airline in Pakistan except Airblue or PIA.

Thanks Abbas for the precision. I fact before I was looking for a job for my brother, but now he's doing the ground course on DC-8, only one week left and then practical on the plane 8). He will fly for Hewa Bora in Congo  .
