EY 773ER at KHI
Went to pick up my sister who was flying in on QR from LHR at around 4.30am and while waiting for her to come out I spent a while out on the visitors gallery and was quite surprised to see an EY 773ER parked there which was to depart for AUH at 6.40am. EK flew in an A332 at 5am, ED a delayed A321 from DXB which was supposed to arrive at 3.30am but ended up coming in just before the QR A320 at 5.15am. A PIA flight left for JED at 5am but the only PIA a/c that left at that time was a 777 even though there was a 743 parked there as well but didn't leave till the time I was there.

My sister came today from Karachi on PK787 and it was a 747-300. PIA use 743's on FRI and SUN. They use a 74M on WED only. My cousin left today for YYZ as well from KHI at 7:30am today on the LR, so u probably saw the 777ER depart at 5am.Moin wrote:The Sunday PK787 is usually a 74M. I couldn't tell if the 777 that left at 5am was an LR or ER. If those oxymorons would allow people to use binoculars, then maybe it would be easier to tell.
I guess EY are using the 77W as the plane can carry 20 tons of cargo with a full payload.
