Interesting article. Thank you flyingsystem for sharing.
A total of three PIA Boeing 707s were transferred to PAF in 1980s and this is what happened to them:
1) Boeing 707-373C (AP-AWU), transferred to PAF in 1986 (PAF serial# 68-18991), returned to PIA in 1992 as AP-AWU.
2) Boeing 707-351B (AP-BAA), transferred to PAF in 1989 (PAF serial# 68-19635), used as VVIP aircraft, retired in late 1990s.
3) Boeing 707-340C (AP-AWY), transferred to PAF in 1986 (PAF serial# 68-19866), retired in 2006.
BTW, only one Boeing 707 was in operation with PAF during the last few years not three mentioned by article's author.A range of types are used for transport duties, the largest being three Boeing 707s flown by 12 Squadron from Chaklala.
