Hopefully PIA will purchase more -200LR's and bypass the UK etc for further nonstop flights to the US, and hopefully even Australia! 8)

Yea there is talk of buying 2 more LR's. I think eventually all the north American flights will by-pass MAN. I also look forward to there Australian services in the future.

I assume PK will still keep dedicated services to/from MAN right?

Cheers

They sure are. MAN is a very profitable market for PK.

The timings are really confusing.

Can you write the arrivals and departure in not such a confusing manner.

How long will the non-stop flight be from New York to Islamabad?

How come the the JFK to Islamabad on a 747-300 was in 12 hours 45 minutes and it is taking the 777-200LR 13 hours and 40 minutes??

Or is this the block time, including taxing to takeoff, and the actuall flying time is less??

Last "rumour" I heard was that PK was in discussions for a mix of leased/purchased fleet of a further 6 more frames. Not sure what the state of play is regarding this now....

I'll try to capture some shots of this beauty while landing at Islamabad with the condition that it does not get late from the acctual time and light becomes a problem.
