MH is looking to get rid of their aging 734 fleet, there could be some options there. Any idea what routes these would be for?

Why would PIA get those aging a/c? It will be looking for some good condition/normal age aircrafts for sure.

I think its possibly PIA want to launch new destinations, to try if they will be profitable. Its why (perhaps) they wanna take the aircrafts on lease. Its only my opinion :D !!! Anybody have more precise info??

well if its a year long lease then at least they should try to paint and refurb the seat covers according to the standard PIA ones also bring inline the safety demo and music etc. , cuz pax really get distressed while boarding when they see a different livery and multicolored seats and a mix of intl crew! its just horrendus dosent look like very stately airline operation rather looks like cheap Russian charter!

I dont think so this tender is for the extension of current leased aircrafts, whenever PIA lease the a/c they keep the condition of Extendable with agreements, I dont think so at the time when MNG planes were being leased that option was there and now when the time is almost over PIA has to look for some other planes with similar category.

Yes, I also think they are extending lease term of MNG 737-400s.

Nice but there are also the 2/3 A306R/A310..................What do you think about? Does MNG have A310/A300? It will be interesting for PIA if so because they will get a "group" price.
