PIA cancels Fokker flights

KARACHI (September 18 2005): Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said on Saturday its Fokker flights would be suspended from September 18 to 20 due to Pakistan Air Force (PAF) "High Mark Air" exercise. It regretted the inconvenience caused to its valuable passengers due to the cancellation of these flights.

KARACHI: Fokker flights of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will remain suspended from September 18 to 20 due to Pakistan Air Force's 'High Mark 2005' Exercise, a PIA press release said on Saturday.

The flights affected by the suspension are PK-609-610 Peshawar-Lahore-Peshawar, PK-630-631 Islamabad-Peshawar-Islamabad and PK-451-452 Islamabad-Skardu-Islamabad. All Fokker flights of Islamabad-Gilgit-Islamabad and Peshawar-Chitral-Peshawar have also been cancelled from September 18 to 20. PIA also cancelled Boeing 737 Air Safari flight of September 18.
