Well I am hearing something very different re why Emirates has stopped flights to/from Pakistan and this has been confirmed further by a video by Mubashir Luqman.
Apparently CAA are refusing to give them the slots they had prior to Covid-19, saying they are unavailable and so instead of giving Pak CAA backhanders / bribes they have pulled the plug for now.
I feel EK has made a good decision. No need to encourage this behaviour by bribing the incompetent, corrupt and unqualified donkeys running the show at CAA.
With that being said, CAA officials have absolutely no shame and they will continue to do this even after an agreement is reached and operations are restored.
For those wanting some context to adamalikhan's post, please watch Mubashir Luqman's video here --->

He has exposed PIA and CAA recently with the PK 8303 crash, with evidence as well. I trust him and his sources to be correct.

Hearing something is different to having evidence to the claims adamalikhan states, we just dont know the reason why emirates have pulled out in the mean time unless emirates comes and tells us.
Emirates will never actually tell us the specifics of the agreement they have with CAA, or the dirty under-the-table deal that CAA officials are trying to get with them.
Restricting flights to Pak because of COVID is absurd, EK is flying to so many cities with higher COVID cases than Pak, including US and many European cities.
What CAA doesn't realize is by forcing Emirates to make a decision like this, they lose out on even more money since EK is not paying any landing / parking fees due to suspension of flights.
Sadly every issue in this country has to be brought to the attention of the PM because the department overseeing it is too corrupt or incompetent to sort it out on its own. It's like running to the principal at school because some kid took your pencil.
What a shame.
