Karachi, February 19, 2019: PIA’s President & CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik has said that the national flag carrier is ready to bring back the Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia upon their release. In a message to the government he made the offer. He congratulated both Prime Minister Imran Khan and Saudi Crown Prince H.H Muhammad Bin Salman for making the prisoners release possible.
Meanwhile a meeting at PIA Head Office was held on the readiness of fleet and other arrangements whenever required for the purpose. Air Marshal Arshad Malik said that we have instructed our offices in Saudi Arabia to coordinate with Pakistan Embassy and Consulates and are waiting for the government’s plan and strategy in this regard and will make flight planning even at short notice.

Five Pakistani prisoners freed by Saudi Arabia today arrived in Lahore aboard a regular Saudia flight from Jeddah. FIA after checking freed persons' documents allowed them to go home.

More than 100 Pakistani prisoners freed by Saudi Arabia arrived in Lahore aboard a Saudia flight. FIA allowed the freed persons to go home after checking their documents.
