Unscheduled Runway Repairs Work Affects Flights Operation at Lahore Airport

Lahore runway due to development of a pothole/pit was closed for repairs today, according to Pakistan CAA statement.

Rainfall is blamed for pothole(s) that emerged on runway surface.

On February 25, Lahore Airport main runway will be closed from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM for repairs/patchwork for permanent solution of pothole/pit emerging on runway surface.

Airlines have been advised to reschedule/reroute flights.
