PIA Preparing Easier Roster for Female Cabin Crew

According to news sources:

PIA is going to make easier roster that had been a longstanding demand of airline's female cabin crew.

Flight safety requirements and needs of cabin crew will be given importance.

PIA management has directed issuance of work-friendly roster.

The new roster will offer proper rest to cabin crew and also allow them to meet their family/social obligations.

Peace of mind is necessary for cabin crew to perform duty in a better way.

The new roster will become effective next month.

Work Friendly and Productive Roster for PIA Cabin Crew

PIA management has instructed for work friendly and productive roster for the cabin crew. PIA spokesperson said that in this regard the Scheduling Section is to accommodate cabin crew's long standing demand for days off and reduction in unnecessary lay overs abroad.

The new schedule to be implemented in coming month will be in line with Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Air Navigation Order (ANO). This will ensure proper rest while at same time maintaining flight safety standards. The main objective is to provide maximum comfort and rest at home. Such adjustments will facilitate, especially the female cabin crew to spend adequate time with their families. This is also necessary as happy and satisfied person with mental peace can give the best performance.

However, management is as usual will always be willing to attend the grievances if there will be any, spokesperson concluded.
