^ Never seen or heard about PIA Boeing 747 scheduled passenger flights to/from Faisalabad.

The biggest PIA aircraft seen at Faisalabad Airport in recent years was Airbus A310.

Airports of Karachi and Lahore Included in "Makkah Road" Inititative

Under "Makkah Road" initiative, pilgrims travelling from airports of Karachi and Lahore will go though Saudi immigration and customs process at these two Pakistani airports. These pilgrims will not have to go through Saudi customs and immigration process after landing at airports of Jeddah and Medina.

Pakistani authorities will hold talks with Saudis to also include airports of Islamabad and Peshawar in "Road to Makkah" project.

Recently, under "Makkah Road" scheme, pilgrims from Indonesia and Malaysian underwent Saudi immigration and customs process at airports of Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur respectively.

The scheme significantly reduces the waiting time for pilgrims at the Saudi airports upon arrival.

Great. But for doing this, will there be separate counters made for Hajis? If not, then it will be a sort of hell for non-hajis/Umrah travellers.
