PIA Invites Bids to Wet Lease Up to Four Narrow-body Aircraft

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) invites "sealed bids" from interested parties for the wet lease of narrow body aircraft as below:

Number of aircraft: Up to four
Seating capacity: 150 plus in two class
Availability from: June 2019
Lease term: Up to six months
Aircraft to be based in: Karachi
Minimum guaranteed block hours: 275 per aircraft
Vintage: Not more than 12 years (as per National Aviation Policy 2015)

Bids received will be opened on February 12, 2019.

The wet leased aircraft will also serve PIA during Hajj flights operation.

Maybe pre- & post-Hajj flights linking Karachi with cities like Sukkur, Quetta, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad etc.
