Rawalpindi to Chitral in 1977

Post by Franek Grabowski »

Gents
I have talked to a person adamant that she flew Dakota from Rawalpindi to Chitral back in 1977. I am not sure if any C-47s/DC-3s were still on Pakistani register by then. Could you tell me please, what aircraft covered the route at the time? PIA's F-27s? Anything else?
Kind regards

Fokker F-27 of Pakistan International Airlines. The Air Force uses Lockheed Hercules C-130 turboprop planes.

Thank you, it confirms my suspicions.
Do you have or does anyone have a good photo of Fokker in Chitral in flight or on the ground in the approximate period?
