Restrictions on Official Air Trips for Federal Cabinet and Bureaucracy Introduced

Prime Minister Imran Khan has imposed following restrictions:

Only three official trips by air per year by federal cabinet members allowed. Restriction not applicable on Foreign Minister and Commerce Minister.

Cabinet members not allowed to take personal staff on official trips.

Restrictions also applied on state ministers, advisers and assistants.

Cabinet members bound to use PIA flights for foreign visits.

Federal government officers up to Grade 21 to travel in Economy Class.
