PIA took right step by petitioning to the court. If court decide against PIA, as a protest PIA should close this route. This way bias of court will also become obvious too.
Indian authorities have ordered freezing of PIA bank accounts. Under some new rules & regulations in India, the Pakistani airline's sales office is not allowed to renew its bank account(s).
In 2012, PIA had applied for opening of new bank accounts. However, five months ago the airline was informed that it cannot open account due to security clearance not given by India's Ministry of Home Affairs.
On this issue, PIA has decided to go to the High Court of Delhi.
According to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson:
* PIA is facing problem with the regularization of airline's accounts in India.
* High Commission of Pakistan in India is in touch with PIA on the issue.
* PIA has taken the matter to a High Court in India.
