How much is the traffic from ISB to PEK and then to NRT? I mean couldn't they operate the route with an A320?

Traffic is low on this route despite the "CPEC" economic & travel Boom. PIA is exclusively operating AP-BMH (777-200ER) as it have less seats around 319.

They r leasing an A330-200 to operate on twice weeekly PK 852/853 rotation with 217 seats in two class. On-average Tripple seven used to be 50-60% full.
Although during Peak Summer seasson loads do increase for PEK & NRT (both airports r Notorious for long delays) :(

As far as deploying A320 on medium haul is concerned it isn't a good idea. Although it do have range and appropriate seating capacity but will be very restricted in Cargo/luggage allowance Hence , adding more to the myseries of National carrier.
