Shaheen Air Airbus A330-200 registration AP-BMI inactive since arriving in Lahore as flight NL-702 from Medina at 1:55 AM on September 27.

Maybe NL-702 was the last commercial flight for Shaheen Air performed by AP-BMI.

Today, Shaheen Air Airbus A330-200 registration AP-BMI departed from Lahore Airport at 5:58 PM as ferry flight NL-3 to Tarbes–Lourdes–Pyrénées Airport, France.

The A330 is being returned to the leasing company.

It was heartbreaking to see country’s second largest airline fallen in few months till zero where there’s an immense need of more carriers.
May ALLAH SWT provide better resources of earning to employees.

Is there anymore chance for it’s revival or rebuilding?

It is really unfortunate to see how this airline, which even until a year ago had grown and progressed - with the induction of so many fleet and frequencies and new routes.

The CEO in his interview with M Luqman did make it clear of all the external challenges with the CAA who were making it very difficult for the airline to operate. He also said if it continued, he would close and packup within 2 months. He gave it several months and it is sad to see the airline suspend operations.

I hope if he could be right. But what’s the reason for closing and picking up in 2 month? Can we assume if that 2minths countdown is started now?

Are Sehbai brothers in country or striving to pick it up again? I think they could have steamline their issues in apprpriate ways by being in operations.
