The flight scheduled to depart from Lahore at 10:20 PM on June 20 eventually departed at 11:59 PM on June 21. 139 passengers were booked on the flight.

During the long delay, the passengers were transported between hotel(s) and airport at least two times. News channels showed angry passengers arguing with Shaheen Air staff at Lahore Airport.
